      Project Overview

      Since 2019, the dedicated members of the New Abbey Play Park Committee have worked tirelessly to transform the outdated play area in their village into a vibrant and modern space. With relentless fundraising through grant applications and community events, they successfully raised £74,000 to bring their vision to life.

      Collaborative Effort

      In partnership with Parc Construction, HAGS engaged in the competitive tender process and was thrilled to be selected to lead the redevelopment project. This collaboration aimed to rejuvenate the play area, focusing on inclusivity and offering a variety of activities like swinging, rocking, sliding, jumping, and interactive play.

      Project Impact

      The grand unveiling of the New Abbey Play Park took place on March 16, 2024, marking a significant milestone for the community. The celebration began with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, symbolizing the collective effort and dedication. The event highlighted the park’s role in promoting inclusivity and joy, drawing people together in celebration.
