      Accessibility Statement

      Compliance Status

We strongly believe that the internet should be accessible and inclusive to everyone and are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of disability. To achieve this, we strive to adhere as closely as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a variety of disabilities. Following these guidelines helps us ensure that the website is accessible to people who are blind, have motor disabilities, have low vision, have cognitive disabilities, and more. This website uses various technologies that are intended to make it as accessible as possible at all times. We use an accessibility interface that allows people with specific disabilities to adjust the website's user interface and design it to their personal needs. In addition, the website uses an AI-based application that runs in the background and constantly optimizes its accessibility level. This application corrects the website's HTML, adapting its functionality and behavior for screen readers used by blind users and for keyboard functions used by people with motor disabilities. Screen Readers and Keyboard Navigation

Our website implements the Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) attribute technology, along with various behavioral changes, to ensure that blind users visiting with screen readers can read, understand and enjoy the website's features. As soon as a user with a screen reader enters a website, they are immediately prompted to enter their screen reader profile so that they can navigate and use the website effectively.

Below is how our website covers some of the most important requirements for screen readers.

      Screen Reader Optimization

We run a process that learns the website's components from top to bottom to ensure continuous compliance even when the website is updated. In this process, we provide screen readers with meaningful data using the ARIA attribute set. For example, we provide correct form labels; descriptions for actionable icons (social media icons, search icon, shopping cart icons, etc.); validation guidance for form inputs; element roles such as buttons, menus, modal dialogs (pop-ups), and more. In addition, background processes scan all images on the site. It provides a correct and meaningful description based on image object recognition as an ALT tag (alternative text) for images that are not described. It also extracts texts embedded in the image using OCR (optical character recognition) technology. To enable screen reader adjustments at any time, users simply need to press the Alt+1 key combination. Screen reader users also receive automatic notifications to enable screen reader mode as soon as they open the site. These adjustments are compatible with popular screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.

      Keyboard Navigation Optimization

Background processes also adjust the website HTML and add various behaviors using JavaScript code to make the website keyboard friendly. This includes the ability to navigate the website using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, use the drop-down menu with the arrow keys, close them with Esc, trigger buttons and links with the Enter key, navigate between option and checkbox elements with the arrow keys, and fill them with the spacebar or Enter key. In addition, keyboard users will find menus to skip content available at any time by clicking Alt+2, or as the first element on the website when navigating with the keyboard. Background processes also handle triggered pop-ups by moving the keyboard focus towards them as soon as they appear, preventing focus from moving out. Users can also use shortcuts such as "M" (menus), "H" (headings), "F" (forms), "B" (buttons), and "G" (graphics) to jump to specific elements.

Disability Profiles are supported on our website

      • Epilepsy Safe Profile: This profile allows people with epilepsy to use the website safely by eliminating the risk of seizures caused by flashing animations and risky Colour combinations.
      • Visually Impaired Profile: This profile adjusts the website to be accessible for most visual impairments, such as low vision, tunnel vision, cataracts, glaucoma, and more.
      • Cognitive Disability Profile: This profile provides various assistive technologies to help users with cognitive disabilities such as autism, dyslexia, cognitive impairment, and more, to focus more easily on the important parts.
      • ADHD-friendly profile: This profile significantly reduces distractions and noise to help people with ADHD and neurodevelopmental disorders more easily browse, read, and focus on the important parts.
      • Blind User Profile (Screen Reader): This profile adjusts the website to be compatible with screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. A screen reader is installed on the blind user's computer, and the website is compatible with it.
      • Keyboard Navigation Profile (Motion Impaired): This profile allows people with motion impairments to navigate the website using the Tab, Shift+Tab, and Enter keys on the keyboard. Users can also use shortcuts such as "M" (menus), "H" (headings), "F" (forms), "B" (buttons), and "G" (graphics) to jump to specific elements.

Additional UI, design, and readability tweaks

      • Users can increase and decrease the size, change the font, adjust spacing, alignment, line height, and more.
      • Users can choose different Colour contrast profiles for Colour adjustments such as light, dark, inverted, and monochrome. Additionally, users can change the Colour schemes for titles, texts, and backgrounds with over seven different Colour options.
      • Animations: Epilepsy users can stop all running animations with a single click. Animations controlled by the UI include videos, GIFs, and flashing CSS transitions.
      • Users who highlight content can choose to emphasize important elements such as links and titles. They can also choose to highlight only focused or hovered elements.
      • Users with hearing aids that mute the sound may experience headaches or other issues due to automatic audio playback. This option allows users to mute the entire website immediately.
      • Cognitive impairments: We use a search engine linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary, which allows people with cognitive impairments to decipher the meaning of phrases, initials, slang, and more.
      • Additional features: Allows users to change the Colour and size of the cursor, use a print mode, enable a virtual keyboard, and many other features.

      Assistive technologies and browser compatibility

We strive to support as many browsers and assistive technologies as possible, so that our users can choose the tools that work best for them, with as few restrictions as possible. That's why we've worked very hard to support all major systems that make up over 95% of the user market, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera, and Microsoft Edge, JAWS, and NVDA (screen readers), for both Windows and Mac users.

      Notes, comments and feedback

Despite our best efforts to make the website accessible to everyone, there may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, are becoming accessible or lack an adequate technical solution to make them accessible. However, we are continuously improving our accessibility, adding, updating, improving options and features, and developing and using new technologies. All of this aims to achieve the optimal level of accessibility in line with technological progress.
