UniPlay Woody Village: Spain’s Most Accessible Playground
A proud milestone in inclusive design
We have been fortunate enough to design a very special playground, the Uniplay Woody Village. We can proudly say that, in addition to being 100% inclusive, it is undoubtedly the most accessible playground unit installed in Spain to date.
Designed for all: A new inclusive play area in catalonia
This playground was created to be the centerpiece of a new inclusive children's area in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Catalonia. The park is organized into different sectors to encourage simultaneous use and create new spaces for various activities, such as symbolic play, quiet play, auditory games, rest, and community gathering. Accessibility at every level
The Uniplay Woody Village consists of two play levels: one at ground level and an upper level that is fully accessible via two wide ramps on either side. This thoughtful design ensures that children using wheelchairs or other mobility aids can access and enjoy the full play experience.
A space that welcomes everyone
This sector-based organization promotes the coexistence of a diverse range of users, allowing children of all abilities to play side by side. The area is further complemented by additional inclusive elements, such as the Spinmee carousel, a range of inclusive swings, and other existing play features.
An inspiring example in Santa Coloma de Gramenet
The Can Zam children's park in Santa Coloma de Gramenet is an example of our vision and ability to create play spaces for all abilities and challenges. We are proud to contribute to a more inclusive world through thoughtful and accessible design.
