About Sofiero Furniture Family

Sofiero exemplifies the seamless blend of Scandinavian design, combining a clean, almost austere look with a soft and inviting ambiance. This timeless and harmonious series, conceived in 2013, was designed for versatile combinations from the outset. Under the guidance of designer Janne Wickelgren, the series has evolved into a smart, buildable system, allowing you to customize your Sofiero to suit your unique needs and location, whether under the open sky or sheltered under a roof.

We take immense pride in Sofiero's accessibility, catering to diverse requirements and ensuring it is a place for everyone to enjoy. We are also thrilled to announce the expansion of the series with the Sofiero Bar furniture, launched in autumn 2020. This addition provides a delightful resting area that can be easily placed wherever a moment of respite is needed.

Jan Wickelgren, an award-winning Swedish architect and designer, has been crafting play products and furniture for HAGS since the 1970s. With a unique ability to marry simplicity and functionality with beauty, Janne creates timeless favorites that endure.

Sofiero stands as one of our most beloved series, cherished for its straightforward design that gracefully balances firmness and softness, making it suitable for urban and park environments alike. Here, you have the freedom to combine products according to your preferences, crafting new and wonderful meeting spots. The Sofiero furniture is crafted from engineered Nordic wood, sourced from FSC-certified suppliers. The slow growth of trees in our cold climate results in dense and compact wood, making Scandinavian pine an ideal material for outdoor furniture.

Bar Round Table

The perfect gathering place for smaller spaces. Here it works just as well to stand up for a quick cup of coffee or sit down on a stool and rest your feet on the footrest.

Curved Bench 45°

This is the smallest module in the Sofiero series. Can be used as a stool for the small round table or to connect several benches together.

Curved Bench 90°

Combine four curved benches to create a circular seat with an inner diameter of 800mm, or any seat length with 90° curves.

Curved Bench 45°

Combine with the round table from the same series, or use to create shapes in longer seating arrangements.

Curved Bench 90°

Create a circular seating area around the 100mm diameter round table from the same series.

Round Table

In smaller spaces, this table goes well with curved stools or armchairs.

Small Bench Curved 360°

A finished combination that creates plenty of seating. Good if you want to build around trees, signposts, light points or a beautiful planting.

Large Bench Curved 360°

North, south, east or west - here you can always sit in the right position. Perfect to build around a tree, plants, or any other centerpiece.

Rectangle Table

This rectangular table combines nicely with straight benches, a park bench with backrest or armchairs.

Straight Bench

Combine this bench with the curved benches from the same series to create complex shapes and maximize space.

Park Bench

This park bench has the same length as the straight bench and can be combined with Sofiero rectangular tables.

Chair

Just as nice in all its simplicity by itself, but even better when combined with the round or rectangular table from the same series. The armchair can be ordered with a rotating or fixed seat.

Round Table

A table to gather around, can be combined with comfortable armchairs, curved benches or stools.
