Football at the heart of play
At OBS de Grote Beer in Diemen-Amsterdam, football is the game children love most. The school wanted to create a dedicated space where every child could enjoy the sport safely, while also making the most of the limited outdoor area.
A custom-built solution
HAGS designed and delivered a specially measured Arena that fits perfectly into the schoolyard. Tailored to the needs of children aged 4–12, it offers the right balance of space, durability, and functionality. The Arena is not only a place for free play and friendly matches, but also doubles as an outdoor gym area, giving teachers a versatile setting for PE lessons.
More than just a sports court
The Arena has quickly become the centerpiece of the playground. Children gather there daily to run, kick, score goals, and celebrate victories with friends. Beyond football, it promotes teamwork, physical activity, and social interaction, helping students build confidence and learn valuable life skills. Teachers benefit too, with a reliable and adaptable facility that supports both structured learning and spontaneous play.
Designed to last
Built with high-quality materials, the Arena was created to withstand the energy of hundreds of children playing each day. Its smart design ensures safety, accessibility, and long-term enjoyment, making it a lasting investment in the school’s outdoor environment.
