Children are excited every morning to meet a small amusement park

The small town of Jebjerg with only 1,082 inhabitants and a small school with only 94 students, were extremely lucky that a local foundation offered 3 million Danish kroner to establish a playground in the local area.

Since the school is the natural centre of the small city, this location was chosen and the project tendered. Seven different companies chose to bid on the large project, but the foundation and the school chose HAGS as their partner.

A meeting place for the community 

The brief was to create a playground that provided opportunities for play, movement and meeting areas for the whole city and not just the school.

Four different play areas, each with their own functions, have been created at Jebjerg School. An ARENA multi use games area, A large UniPlay multi-play unit, a Skate area and more are now installed on the entire school area for the benefit and enjoyment of both small and large children as well as their parents.

HAGS Denmark itself created a fantastic custom UniPlay unit with countless opportunities for challenges and games.

Jebjerg town and school are more than happy with all their great new areas, and the children are excited every morning to see their small amusement park.
