Nautical Themed Play Area, St Raphael, France
Saint-Raphaël municipality commissioned HAGS to rejunevate the old play area overlooking the marina. As the Bonaparte garden is a popular family destination, there was a need for visually-appealing equipment that would both spark the enthusiasm of children of all ages and blend in harmoniously with the seaside setting. The nautical theme of the UniPlay Bell unit, complemented by three springers chosen for their fun seagull and fish shapes, recreates a seaside environment which adds further value to the promenade.
A UniMini play unit, suitable for toddlers, was custom-made to fit the narrow space. The new equipment caters for children aged 2-12 and offers them a wide array of activities including multiple climbing routes and slides.
HPL panels and metal posts were chosen for the low maintenance they require and their optimal resistance to the sea wind.
