Inclusiveness

HAGS offers a wide range of park and urban furniture and other outdoor products. Our goal is for everyone – regardless of physical abilities – to share and enjoy the same benefits with our products. Therefore, they are designed with accessibility and inclusiveness in mind. For example, the picnic table Skagen provides space for a wheelchair on one side.
We are happy to share our knowledge of how to create different accessibility adaptations.

Tips and hints:

• In order to achieve access for everyone, it’s a good idea to leave room for a wheelchair beside any park bench.
• People who use a wheelchair or have other physical limitations are helped by good arm support when they move to and from a park bench.
• One should not forget that an accessible park or urban environment does not need not be boring!
